Developed the product, marketing and business strategies for Cymphonix. As a result of the emphasis on application and market relevance, complemented by a strong channel and OEM strategy, the company has received noteworthy industry awards and is an emerging leader in network management appliances.  ABP was instrumental in taking Cymphonix from start-up through Series A, including funding by Intel, vSpring, and Hunter Capital.  He developed and deployed licensing models based on appliances, software images and recurring revenue/ managed services. He negotiated and executed licensing contracts in the U.S., Latin America, and EMEA.
Retained by 3Com to build out its SME strategy and programs.  In this capacity, developed affinity programs for 3Com’s tier 1 OEM partners Dell, Gateway and Micron.  Also developed the concept for and executed the implementation of 3Com University, which remains 3Com’s leading tool for online partnering and small business product training.
Retained by Mitsui to direct the worldwide market and business development of Interactive Phone, an emerging product and service category featuring Web access, unified messaging and other advanced features on an embedded device.
As the preferred OEM, worked with IBM, NEC, BellSouth, Philips, Hitachi, Sanyo and other world class vendors and systems manufacturers on the development and marketing of wireless data  products.
Led efforts between Rockwell's DCD and a development consortium to integrate code into the Rockwell chipset allowing for direct connections between Rockwell based modems and cellular phones.  Negotiated and executed a license with Rockwell, effectively embedding the consortium’s access code on 70% of the world’s modems.
Directed third party development/marketing relationships with Compaq, Epson, and Toshiba for embedded wireless modems.  Developed the application training program for Compaq personnel at field offices in the U.S. and Canada.
