JEAN-PIERRE'S ART REPRODUCTIONS (Giclees)
Gallery Online is a business that primarily focuses on selling the (Giclees) reproductions made of the original paintings by Haitian-American artist, Ulrick Jean-Pierre. Each selected image is reproduced in two or three different sizes through a process known as Giclee.
A Giclee, also known as archival print, is a process by which a digital photo of an original painting is printed on canvas or acid- free paper. The quality is as close to the original as one can get.
Due to the high demand over the past twenty years for reproductions of the Haitian Historical Series, we have produced a limited edition for those collectors, art galleries and people, generally interested in the rich history and culture of Haiti. Some of the reproductions also depict the historical and cultural connections between Haiti and the state of Louisiana. All featured images on this website and all images that are not featured if desired, can be customized in different sizes.
A portion of the proceeds of each sold art reproduction will go towards:
  • Restoration of the artist's studio and home in New Orleans severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina and flood-waters in 2005
  • Construction of a road project, from Gommier to Guillotte, two towns outside of Jeremie located in the Southwest part of Haiti.
  • Expansion of an existing primary school in the Guillotte community of Haiti to relieve current overcrowding
